Academics

“It should be your care, therefore, and mine, to elevate the minds of our children and exalt their courage; to accelerate and animate their industry and activity; to excite in them… an ambition to excel in every capacity, faculty, and virtue.”
—John Adams through his wife Abigail regarding the education of their children, 1777

We love to talk about Jesus and the Bible, integrating it into the curriculum. Our goal is to meet the spiritual, academic, emotional, physical and social needs of all of our students at Liberty Christian School.

Jesus and the Bible are integrated into our curriculum so the students are receiving a strong foundation giving every opportunity for students to grow their Christian faith.

We take our obligation as an extension of the Christian family seriously by bringing every student to his or her highest potential: academically, socially, and spiritually.

At the youngest grades, teachers take time to assure each student is loved and safe as they learn.

Challenging

Our curriculum is designed to push a child to discover his full academic potential. Each lesson follows a natural progression that both introduces new concepts and reinforces what was previously taught.

Biblical

Our academics are built to do more than just shape what children know, but to guide whom they will become with character-building content that reinforces biblical values.

Comprehensive

One of the most significant aspects of education is balance. At LCS, we strive to produce an academic program that sharpens the minds of our students in a variety of areas.

Curriculum

We use the Saxon Math curriculum for mathematics instruction in the middle and high school.
The ABeka curriculum is used for elementary math and all other subjects.
